All were either too small or in the slot. We could catch 12" bass, but no 15 inchers. We looked hard for some 15 inch fish today. Far fewer boats on Sunday. Saturday was absolutely crazy out there with so many boats, but it was fine. Saturday at the mouth of Little Caney there were boats fishing 50 feet apart. Nobody seemed to be protective of their space. There were so many boats...that's just the way it was. We enjoyed the weather as well. It was down right cool on the water this morning at 5:30. We caught about 20 over the three days. All were either too small or in the slot. We could catch 12″ bass, but no 15 inchers. We looked hard for some 15 inch fish today.

Almost had me a money fish last year but it broke off right under the boat. One year I was fishing 100 yards from a mysterious white boat that caught a fish and left. Turns out it was the winning fish. I had just gone through that area too. Swing and a miss. A buddy of mine got second place a few years back and won himself a pontoon boat. But this year the weather pattern is screwy. We have not been able to find the fish for quite some time now. Any ideas? :) Like you'd tell me.
