Hello,

First - I want to congratulate you on such a fantastic website.
I subscribed and also put a link up on my site. Well done, sir.

Second - I was up at fork a couple of weeks ago and had some luck
fishing in the rain with a small shad crank about 3'deep just
outside the grass...

best,
R

Pop'r mainly. However, don't underestimate the use of a good horny toad dragged weightless across the top or along the top of the grass letting it fall off the grass line.

Top water bite is definitely on. A buddy of mine caught a 25" hog in 5 foot of water. I was out last weekend and got several off the grass beds on top water, and a couple on rat-l-traps. Not your typical summer here, but sure beats 100 degree days. Good luck.
