I went to the lake today but my fishing trip got cut short by thunder storms. I used the new trolling motor and it is sweeeeeeeeet!

It is smooth and very easy to operate from anywhere in the boat. The lowest setting moved the boat along at the pace of a very slow walk and the fast setting zooms it right along.

The steering is in small increments and is very easy to adjust while fishing. The foot switch is layed out in such a way that the main power button and the faster and slower speed buttons are across the top and are elevated, with the left and right controls along the bottom, on a lower plane so any of them can easily be operated even with shoes on. There is not a lot of pushing buttons accidentally the way it is set up.

Overall it is an awesome unit and I am very glad I got it.
